Full Payment Has Been Made

Posted By at Wednesday, November 28, 2018

I read an article recently, about how when the books of a certain Scottish doctor were examined after his death, it was found that a number of accounts were crossed through with a note: Forgiven too poor to pay.

The physician's wife later decided that these accounts must be paid in full and she proceeded to sue for the money. When the case came to court, the judge asked only one question. "Is this your husband's handwriting?"

When she replied that it was, the judge responded, "There is no court in the land that can obtain a debt once the word forgiven has been written on it."

One of the problems common to many of us is that we find it very difficult to forgive someone who we feel has hurt us deeply.

The good news is that when we confess our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness, He forgives us totally and absolutely.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

He does this not because He ignores the just penalty for our sins, He sent Jesus to pay that for us; but it is because in His everlasting love for us that He gave his Son, Jesus, to pay that penalty for us through His death on the cross. If we have confessed our sins to God and asked for his forgiveness, we need to accept his forgiveness by faith; regardless of how we feel. Even if we still don't feel forgiven, we need to deal with the problem of false guilt and/or shame. Be sure to thank God regularly for his forgiveness regardless of how you feel. And because God forgives all of our sins and wrongs, we need to forgive all who have wronged us. As I have said before; Failing to forgive is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

Col 2:14 NLT He cancelled the record that contained the charges against us. He took it and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ's cross.

Is there a limit to His love? If that was the case:-

  • David the adulterer never found it.
  • Nor did Paul the persecutor find it.
  • Nor Peter the liar; he never found it.
  • Neither did the thief on the cross on that crucifixion day.

And you won't find it either! There is NO LIMIT to His love.

When Jesus cried from the cross in John 19:30 "It is finished!" It was totally completed for us.

Because Jesus paid our penalty for us, God can now write across our debt, Forgiven too poor to pay.

Then He wipes out our debt forever!

God wrote FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE over every sin you ever commit from the womb to the tomb! Start to believe it today FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE!

Seek God First in Everything

Posted By at Wednesday, August 10, 2016

Rather than always being preoccupied with material things we should learn to seek God's kingdom first. As you do, you enter into covenant agreement with Him where He has pledged to add all the things you need to you!

Remember no one really plans to fail; they just fail to have a plan to succeed.

Matt 6:33 "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

To seek "First the kingdom of God" really means to put God and His interests first in your life.

To seek "His righteousness" means that you seek with all your heart to be what God wants you to be and to display His righteousness to those around you.

There are practical ways by which you can show that you are truly putting God first in your life, and if you do these you will grow older learning something new everyday.

  1. Give God the first hour of each day in prayer and Bible reading.
  2. Give God the first day of each week by being in the Church service with the Body of Christ, not forsaking the assembling together.
  3. Give God the first part of each dollar you receive by your tithe and offering.
  4. Give God first place in your home by praying with the family each day before they set off into the world.
  5. Give God the first place in your habits and make His desire for your praise and worship your daily habit.

If you truly put God and His interests first in your life, you have His word that He will provide your needs. If you have God and what He provides, you have all that you really need, "and all these things shall be added to you."

The Apostle Paul said in 1 Timothy 6:6-8 "Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing with these we shall be content."

Get Revelation Knowledge & Wisdom

Posted By at Wednesday, March 16, 2016

In these last days we need to be living by Revelation Knowledge not by sense knowledge. The problem came when Adam fell in the garden, he fell from Revelation Knowledge back down to sense-knowledge-living and man has been there ever since, until Jesus came as the last Adam to restore mankind back to living by Revelation Knowledge again.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding.

It is wise to have a reverential awe of the Lord to gain Revelation Knowledge of Him, and in understanding His ways and His will for our lives.

Isaiah 33:6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.

Through wisdom and knowledge we will experience the stability to endure these difficult times.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

The days we now live in are just before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should be living each day in the secret place of His presence, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty as Psalm 91 says to do; as it's the only secure place to be in these last days.

Keep on building a firm faith foundation by staying close to Father God through prayer and by feeding on His Word daily. As you keep yourself in this secret place, you will experience God’s protection, the wicked one will not touch you, and you will enjoy having the victory every day. That's what Revelation Knowledge and wisdom will do for you.

Sow the Seed & Seek God Not Things

Posted By at Wednesday, February 17, 2016

God says in Jeremiah 29:11 I know the plans I have for you to give you a hope and an expected end.

In 1 Samuel 1:4-5 we find Elkanah, a righteous man who loved Hannah and gave her a double portion even though the Lord had closed her womb. He was perhaps giving her the portion for the son she was to have by faith.

Sometimes a door will open only when you understand why it was closed in the first place. In the story of Hannah, she wanted a son but God wanted a prophet.

Then she prayed in Vs. 11 “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

God not only gave her Samuel but also six more children, as 1 Samuel 2:5 says. When you pray for a harvest God will give you a seed to sow. He ONLY gives seed to those willing to sow. The seed may be something you love and want to cling to, but don't cling to it, just surrender it to God in faith. Hannah discovered she couldn't be satisfied with less than God's will for her life. When she released the seed - then she got the harvest.

Elkanah had two wives, but he loved Hannah the most and granted her 'a double portion' of his possessions, as I said in my opening remarks.

When you're not doing what you know God has truly called you to do, the love of people and material things won't satisfy you. Ordained people are not just those recognized by denominations! Hannah was ordained to be a mother. You may be ordained to be a secretary, a gardener, a painter or a teacher.  Just find out what God's ordained you to do and do it for Him to the best of your ability!

Finally, Hannah's desperation led her to her destiny: 'The Lord... had closed her womb.' Why?  Probably to get Hannah's attention and to draw her closer to Himself! Difficult times often cause us to re-examine and re-evaluate our priorities in life and seek God as never before. Our emphasis then changes from "Lord, this is what I want." to "Lord, what do You want?"

Then He blesses us, because as Hebrews 11:6 says '... He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him'.

To get the reward become a diligent seeker, then He will bless you abundantly far above what you can ask, think or even dream of.

Take a Stand Now on RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Posted By at Wednesday, August 22, 2012

Mankind has failed miserably in its approach to God.  So much so that God had to come in the likeness of sinful flesh and make a way, whereby man could approach Him.

The Word of God declares that mankind's righteousness (outside of Christ) is as filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6)

We have further failed as the Church because we have been taught and trained to be more conscious of our sin than of our righteousness.

So our own righteousness is as filthy rags, that is quite correct, but 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who (Jesus) knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus).

When you fully realise the totality of Calvary's work for you and that righteousness not only became yours but that you were made 'the righteousness of God...' then you have something to shout about!

Righteousness became yours in the same way deliverance from sin and satan's power became yours!

Righteousness became yours the same way deliverance from sickness and disease became yours when you came into Christ!

When these great truths begin to take hold in your Spirit as revelation knowledge and you start to live them, the reality of the New Creation is yours to enjoy.  Too many Christians are trying to live in this New Creation as patched up old creations that could break down and disintegrate at anytime.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things are passed away and behold all things have become new.

Our part is to learn to 'walk in the Spirit' by faith in what God says about us, not what our bodies or minds tell us from the sense realm.  As we do this, then we begin to manifest His presence (righteousness) in the world.
