Your Words are Your Faith Speaking

Posted By at Wednesday, October 17, 2018

Do you realise when you speak your faith is talking?

Jesus said in Matthew 12:34 "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."

Whatever we have put in our hearts will eventually come out of our mouths. What we ‘believe’ will be coming out of our mouths, whether positive or negative.

The Apostle Paul put it this way in 2 Corinthians 4:13 "We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, "I believed, and therefore have I spoken," we also believe, and therefore speak."

The point I want to make is; whatever is in your heart will be coming out of your mouth and that, whatever it is, will be you releasing your faith, whether you can accept that view or not.

So with that thought we need to be careful what we are saying, because we are guiding and charting our course in life by our words.

Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinketh in his heart so is he!

Eventually what we think, we will begin to speak out of our mouths and so we become what we say!

Proverbs 4:23 Good New Bible Be careful what you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.

It's important to discipline our vocabulary because the things that occupy our thoughts will come to pass as we talk about them. They become our words of faith! Whatever you say is your faith speaking!!

Romans 10:8 Living Bible For salvation that comes from trusting Christ—which is what we preach—is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths.

Proverbs 18:21 Living Bible Those who love to talk will suffer the consequences. Men have died for saying the wrong thing!

Think about that ,"Men have died for saying the wrong thing!"

That is a powerful statement from the Word; and unfortunately there are many people who have already died because they made wrong statements in their lives, & those statements came to pass. It is very important what we say.

I know many Christians who believe that their words are not important, but many of them seem to be in some sort of difficulty.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit!

Do you realize today that The Word going INTO your life produces fruit? And it's The Word coming OUT again that produces faith!

So it's your choice what you are going to say. Your words are containers for good or bad, positivity or negativity.

There is tremendous power in words because we are made in God's image. Whether they are written words, spoken words, or words set to music. Words will lead you along the right path or take you down the wrong path in life. We live by words; we speak them, we read them, we even think them. We communicate with words every day. People who speak negative words will eventually reap the results of speaking those words, because they reproduce after their own kind; failure, defeat and sorrow and even death!

They can be filled with ungodliness - hate, doubt, fear, and unbelief. Or they can be filled with godliness - love, joy, peace, happiness, and faith.

Words can curse, or words can bless.

Words can discourage, or they can encourage.

Words can wound, or they can make whole.

Words filled with the power of God will linger with you and literally change your life.

The words you hear will either help you along life's path or hinder you!
Words can build confidence into people, or words can destroy faith and confidence in people.

Biting or stinging words spoken in the morning by a husband or wife can rob them both of efficiency throughout the day. But loving, tender and beautiful words will fill their day with strength that leads them to victory.

Why is it that some families grow up strong and stable, always winning in life?

One reason is that right words were spoken at home. The atmosphere in our homes is a product of our words.

What are you building into your children, friends, associates and colleagues? Are you building failure and defeat? Or are you building success and victory?

We cannot afford to talk failure.

Remember; when you speak it is YOUR faith talking!

Faith and Fear the Same Force

Posted By at Wednesday, October 10, 2018

Here at Family Faith Centre I talk a lot about faith, and the fact that God says we can't please Him without it in Hebrews 11:6.

What I mean is that we should have faith in the completed work of Jesus at Calvary for us. As we believe it and take it into our lives, it becomes an act of faith - and that is what pleases God.

Today, I want to help you understand that FAITH and FEAR are the same spiritual force just pulling in opposite directions.

When a person is hearing and speaking God's Word, they are releasing a force call FAITH - and that is the substance of the things that they hope for.

But the reciprocal is also true; when a person is hearing and speaking the words that emanate from the devil, they are releasing a force called FEAR - and that is the substance of the things they don't want.

Remember that FEAR means FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL so is a deception. I understand that the Word of God has about 365 references that say "DO NOT FEAR"; one for each day of the year.

So lets all think about what I am saying; just as FAITH is the substance of things we desire, FEAR is the substance of things you do not desire! That's why we have to resist talking like the devil and the world and talk only like God.

James 4:7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Whatever we decree [say] we are establishing in our lives!

Job said in Job 3:25 NLT "What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true."

The devil will use fear to keep us out of all that God is trying to get us into. He tries to get us to concentrate on and speak what you see and hear and feel, instead of what God says about us in His Word.

So how can we overcome this fear tactic he brings? We do what Jesus said when He was also tempted by the devil.

Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 NKJ But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

As we start speaking God's Word, faith will be released into our situations and we will have faith to please Him.

Don't Get Caught in the Mouth Trap!

Posted By at Wednesday, June 07, 2017

Here is a principle I would like to share with you today to help you win in life!

You can become trapped by the very words that come out of your own mouth! You could be hung by your tongue! Your words set in motion the direction that you will take. You must realise that your level of faith in God will never rise above your confession of faith.

Why is that? Because every word that comes out of your mouth either produces faith or fear.

If you speak fear, that fear will destroy your faith.

You can become trapped, snared, by fear even though you want to be a person of faith.

By the same token, your positive statement of faith from God's Word; the words of faith that come out of your mouth, will create a new level faith which will destroy fear and doubt and unbelief.

Your words will either create a trap to snare you; or a springboard to launch you up and onward.

Your words either bring victory or bring defeat.

You cannot have a faith walk with fear talk.

Faith and fear are like oil and water; they don't mix!

Faith talk brings a faith walk.

Your tongue and your words will be to your life what a steering wheel is to a car. Whichever direction the steering wheel turns the car goes.

In the same manner, your direction is determined by your words...your feet will follow your mouth. Everything that comes out of your mouth makes its impression and leaves its influence upon your life. They are indelible marks on your life. So learn to guard the words that come out of your mouth.

Can you honestly listen to the way you say things and guard your words? If you do you can probably be free from most of the problems you may be facing right now!

You may very well find that you have created a trap for yourself by speaking words that are contrary to God's Word!

Begin to believe for God's best and speak forth words that confirm God's best in your life. Be loosed from the noose; do not get caught in the mouth trap!

Be Careful What You Say

Posted By at Wednesday, April 19, 2017

Psalm 45:1 My heart is overflowing with a good matter. I speak of the things which I have made touching the king, my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

In this passage of scripture King David is experiencing a revelation through the Holy Spirit. It's bubbling on the inside of him and he really just has to tell someone. Therefore, his tongue is compared to the pen that is ready to write or compose the revelation he received, releasing to future generations 'a good matter;' the prophecy about Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Jesus tells us in Matt 12:34 That from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

David is so full of this 'good matter' he declares Jesus is fair, righteous, full of grace, etc [found in all the following verses of Psalm 45].

The Lord IS good and when you fill your heart with His goodness, your mouth will speak of treasures from the past, for the present and also for the future. You will be writing and composing the 'good matter' the Lord has for you and generations to come.

The Lord is a never changing 'good matter.' Receive the goodness of The Lord and your tongue will also be the pen of a ready writer.

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.

Job 6:25 "How forceful are right words!"

The words we all speak have power, they are more powerful than most people realize. The words we say can put a smile on someone's face or bring tears to the eyes of another.

We can encourage one another with the words we speak or we can crush the hopes and dreams of the ones we love by not watching what we say.

Our words are more powerful than we give them credit.

Through my years of studying the word of God I have come to see that words are a creative force! We have been made in the image and likeness of our Father God.

Now there are some that have misused the teaching of speaking right words and have gone to an extreme, which in turn has turned a lot of Christians away from teachings on faith and positively speaking God's Word.

Speaking faith filled words is God’s way to bring things into existence. And since we are created in His very own IMAGE. So just as a child IMITATES his parents, so should we as God's children IMITATE our Heavenly Father, who created us in His IMAGE and LIKENESS.

Start to get creative in our speaking! We should be speaking provision and healing and reconciliation and the positive things of Gods Word, not sounding off with the devil's negatives.

I Believe the Word of God

Posted By at Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Psalm 91:16 "With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

If you abide in the secret place of the Most High as Vs 1 of Psalm 91 says, God has promised to satisfy you with long life and to show you His salvation.

The word Salvation means: deliverance, victory, prosperity and health. I used to worry that I might die young when I was policeman in Ireland and I can remember times when I even would say that. Other young policemen that I had trained with in the Academy had been shot and blown up by the terrorist groups of that time! I have been shot at and almost been killed too, but was somehow protected.

Then in 1967, I was in a major motor crash and the devil almost succeeded in doing what I had been saying, even though I didn't know or understand the power of the words I was speaking at that time. I did get saved in hospital during the 14 months following that accident, and The Lord convicted me about it because my words had almost been brought to pass.

God's Word says that He will satisfy me with long life, so I started replacing my fear words with His Word. I am not old yet but I am now in my mid 70's and still enjoying His protection and provision!

So you need to watch your words. You need to stop saying things like, "This runs in my family." Or "My Father and grandfather had this problem etc."

No! It stops right now! There will be no limitation on you if you dwell in the secret place of the Most High God and say what God says about you.

Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue!"

The Living Bible says, "Men have died for saying the wrong thing!"

Remember Psalm 91:16 "with long life will I satisfy him." To Satisfy means: to satiate or give a long and full life of blessings. When you're satiated, you are completely satisfied and can take no more.

So keep your eyes off everybody else and what they are doing. Stop all the negative talk saying things like: "I know people who died young. I know people who have not been healed."

I have seen people healed, and I know people who have not been healed; but I don't believe in healing because I have seen it. I believe in healing because the Word says it. I would believe in healing even if I had never seen anybody healed.

I have seen people raised up from death so I believe God's Word without question.

Do you understand the difference about saying wrong and fear words?

I believe in God's blessings because I follow His Word. I would believe in His blessings even if everybody I knew were in need.

God's Word is God's promise and God's will, and He cannot lie so I believe God's Word, how about you?

Ask and it Shall Be Done Unto You

Posted By at Wednesday, December 14, 2016

John 15:7"If ye abide in Me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

What Jesus was saying to His disciples was, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, then My words abiding in you will produce faith. Then you'll ask whatever you will, and it will be done unto you."

I didn't say it - Jesus did!

Now, Jesus did put limits on that promise; He didn't give us carte blanche; He wasn't saying, "Ask for anything you want!"

No what Jesus said was, “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you. Then you'll ask whatever you will, and it will be done unto you."

You see, if His Word is abiding in you and you're walking with Him, you won't be able to ask in faith for anything that's unscriptural. You'll only desire to ask for things that line up with the Word. That is God's checks-and-balances system.

What Jesus is saying in this verse is that you can have a miracle at your own discretion. You don't have to sit back and wait to see whether it's God's own good time. He said, "If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you!"

I know I'm repeating this promise but I want you to get it and put it to work in your life. You have Jesus' Word on it - you can initiate a miracle anytime you want!

Why not start asking for abundant blessings to share with those less fortunate than yourself this Christmas?

We have a special offering at this time to help a camp for underprivileged children in Romania in 2017. If you feel you want to contribute towards that you can send a check made payable to FAMILY FAITH CENTRE and post it to Family Faith Centre, PO Box 600 South Morang, Victoria 3752 AUSTRALIA. [Mark on the envelope 'For Romania']. For more information and to read about the 2016 camp, visit Our Missions on the FFC website.

Here is a GOOD Confession for you today:

“I abide in Jesus, and His Word abides in me. Therefore, I ask whatever I will, and it is done unto me. Healing is in God's Word. When symptoms try to come, I receive healing, and it's part of me, so I am healed and now I'm asking for an abundance to be able to be a blessing to others this season. Thank you Father in Jesus' Name!”

Ask & it Shall be Done Unto You!

Posted By at Wednesday, October 26, 2016

In John 15:7 Jesus said this; "If ye abide in Me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

What Jesus was saying to His disciples was, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, My words abiding in you will produce faith. Then you'll ask whatever you will, and it will be done unto you."

I didn't just say that - Jesus said that and made that promise!

However, He did put limits on that promise. He didn't give us carte blanche; He wasn't saying, "Just ask for anything you want!"

No what Jesus said was, “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you. Then you'll ask whatever you will, and it will be done unto you."

You see, if His Word is abiding in you and you are walking with Him, you won't want to ask in faith for anything that's unscriptural; you'll only ask for things that line up with the Word. That is God's checks-and-balances system.

What Jesus is saying in this verse is that you can have a miracle at your own discretion. You don't have to sit back and wait to see whether it's God's own good time. Remember again He said, "If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you!"

You have Jesus' word on it - you can initiate a miracle anytime you want!

Here is a GOOD Confession for you today:

“I abide in Jesus, and His Word abides in me. Therefore, when I ask whatever I will that is in God's Word, it will be done unto me. Healing is in God's Word. When symptoms try to come, I ask for healing, and it's given to me. I am the healed!”

Your Mouth Exercises Control

Posted By at Wednesday, April 15, 2015

cc

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue…

Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

Your mouth is actually the control centre for your life.

Neurosurgeons have said that the speech centre in the brain exercises dominion over the whole central nervous system. This is a recent discovery. That you can cause different parts of the body to respond with stimuli to corresponding parts of the human brain. But when the speech centre is stimulated, the whole central nervous system responds.

This means that when anyone says, “I am so weak,” the speech centre sends out the message to the whole body to prepare to be weak.

This is the reason God said in Joel 3:10 “Let the weak say, I am strong."

Matthew 12:37 The Message Bible “Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation.”

Proverbs 6:2 You are snared by the words of your mouth you are taken by the words of your mouth.

Many people are held hostage by their words; they are prisoners of words.

Proverbs 6:2 Jerusalem Bible “...through words of yours you have been entrapped.”

The Basic English Version says “...the sayings of your lips have overcome you.”

James 3 says your tongue determines the direction and destiny of your life in the same way the rudder on a great ship steers it wherever the captain wants to go.

Jesus won the war of words with the devil in Matthew 4.

You're a believer in the Word of God. You must speak what you believe for victory to be yours.

The confession of your lips that grows out of faith in your heart, will absolutely defeat the adversary in every combat. That means Satan cannot win if you will hold fast to your confession and allow your words to register on your spirit.

This new discovery by medical science may seem to be exciting but the Bible has revealed this fact for thousands of years ago. Medical science is finally finding out what the Bible says has been true all these years!

Be blessed with the rest of your week.
