The Right Foundation

Posted By at Wednesday, March 30, 2016

Just like any proper building, our lives need a strong foundation. The higher the building the lower and stronger the foundation needs to be!

The world around us changes, but God's Word - the Bible - never changes. It is to be the absolute foundation for our lives, we need to go deeply into it.

Matthew 7:24-25 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the wind blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

Ephesians 4:14-15 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching...Instead...we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

Hebrews 1:1-3 Amplified Bible In many separate revelations each of which set forth a portion of the Truth] and in different ways God spoke of old to [our] forefathers in and by the prophets.

2 [But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order].

3 He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had, by offering Himself, accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high.

God's Word is also a creative word.

Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower. And bread to the eater,

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

The Word of God has great creative power. God created the universe by His Word and sustains the whole universe by His Word.

The Word of God has the same kind of creative power in our lives when it is the foundation we build upon.

Easter is a great time to RETURN TO GOD!

Zechariah 1:3 Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Return to Me," says the Lord of hosts, "and I will return to you."

God places much of the burden of what we will become on our response to Him. If we have drifted from God, His call is to return to Him.

This is Easter week so it's a good time to consider your relationship with Him.

God promises that if we will return, He will immediately renew His relationship with us.

James promises if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us.

James 4:8 Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts."

Jesus guarantees says that if we seek Him, we will find Him.

Matthew 7:7 Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened.

Much of the Christian life rests upon our response and our desire to experience God to the fullest.

Why is it that some Christians seem to go so much deeper in their walk with God than others?

Why have some had such powerful prayer ministries that have changed the course of nations?

Is it that God has chosen to anoint the words of some, so that when they speak or pray or preach, it is obvious that God consecrates their words?

Really it is because these individuals have committed themselves to pursue God until His presence is nothing less than a vibrant relationship with God, and He has honoured their desire.

Have you become complacent in your relationship with God, or are you hungering for more?

Has your relationship with Him become somewhat cold?

Why not right now, re-commit your life to following Him and obeying His Word every day.

Don't become satisfied with a relationship with God that may be broken by sin and void of the power of the Holy Spirit.

You have just as much of God's powerful presence available to you as the greatest saint in Christian history!

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

So return to God. There is so much more in store for you than you think if you return to Him. He is just waiting for your response.

Come back today!

Get Revelation Knowledge & Wisdom

Posted By at Wednesday, March 16, 2016

In these last days we need to be living by Revelation Knowledge not by sense knowledge. The problem came when Adam fell in the garden, he fell from Revelation Knowledge back down to sense-knowledge-living and man has been there ever since, until Jesus came as the last Adam to restore mankind back to living by Revelation Knowledge again.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding.

It is wise to have a reverential awe of the Lord to gain Revelation Knowledge of Him, and in understanding His ways and His will for our lives.

Isaiah 33:6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.

Through wisdom and knowledge we will experience the stability to endure these difficult times.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

The days we now live in are just before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should be living each day in the secret place of His presence, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty as Psalm 91 says to do; as it's the only secure place to be in these last days.

Keep on building a firm faith foundation by staying close to Father God through prayer and by feeding on His Word daily. As you keep yourself in this secret place, you will experience God’s protection, the wicked one will not touch you, and you will enjoy having the victory every day. That's what Revelation Knowledge and wisdom will do for you.

I Was Thinking

Posted By at Wednesday, March 09, 2016

Have you ever spent some time thinking about what it really means to be in Christ Jesus

Once you really know - it will radically change your life.

It’s in Him that we are saved from sin.

It’s in Him that we are now set free.

It’s in Him we are made righteous.

If you want these powerful words to explode on the inside of you, try searching the scriptures daily to see what other scriptures are talking about being in Him.

I understand there are about 134 of them in the New Testament.

Mark them in your Bible [don't be afraid to write on your Bible] and meditate on them until the truth of in Him penetrates your heart and mind.

They will give you some powerful ammunition against the devil's attacks.

For example, when the devil tries to tell you that you’re just a sinner and God won’t be bothered by your problems, you'll know he's a liar and you can answer him boldly and say, “No devil I used to be a sinner, but now I have right standing with God in Jesus. I’m in Him and He's in me so you can’t touch me at all.”

So be prepared the next time the devil comes around with his negatives, tell him positively you are in Christ and Christ is in you.

Ephesians 2:11-13 Therefore remember, that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by the so-called circumcision, which is performed in the flesh by human hands.

12 Remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

Give it All to Jesus

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

These verses have a lot to say to us about the personal challenges we go through and God's encouragement.

In Psalm 55:22 there are three main words are:

  1. Cast
  2. Burden
  3. Sustain

CAST means "to throw, hurl, abandon, or toss away as no longer needed or wanted." It also means: "to dispense with something in such a way as to have nothing more to do with it."

That means our cares and our burdens are to be thrown away, abandoned into God's care, dispensed with so that we have nothing more to do with them.

BURDEN is a word used to describe a load of anxiety that weighs a person down. It has to do with one's lot in life, our particular sphere of influence, our daily duties and responsibilities and the associated stress of them all.

A number of notable Bible scholars have defined the expression of your burden in the following ways: "God's gift to you," "your hope," "your allotment," "your portion," and "your cares, travails, and troubles that go with your business or your occupation."

SUSTAIN is a good word. It has to do with upholding, feeding, nourishing, supporting and taking care of. God gives us a life to live and then invites us to turn over to Him the weight of it all so He can carry all the responsibilities and us as well.

Peter, quoting from the Old Testament gave us the same words in the New Testament setting, 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

God cares for you. The Amplified Bible says: Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

Just give it all to Him. He knows how to deal with it!
